Helicopter Tour into the Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon Whitewater
View from riverside camp at dusk
Day One Enjoy a beautiful flight from Las Vagas to Bar 10 Ranch, where a helicopter takes you deep into Granc Canyon to join your welcoming crew and rafts. After orientation and introductions, hold on for Kolb and mile 209 rapids, both big plunges.

Day Two Our J-Rig rafts enter awesome Lower Granite Gorge with a series of moderate rapids including Granite Spring, Diamond Creek and Travertine. We take some time to hike, explore and play at Travertine Grotto, a fantastic series of hidden waterfalls and pools. Run the biggest rapids of the trip, the "230's."

Day Three As you near Lake Mead, the river calms and the canyon widens. At mid-morning, you'll transfer to a jet boat for a thrilling hour-long ride down river and across Lake Mead. A deluxe motor coach will be waiting to return you to Las Vegas.

Grand Canyon Rafting Trip » Guest Comments

This trip was truly life changing for me. I know, it sounds trite, but it was. I had never camped, and frankly, was not what I would consider an adventure traveler. But this trip was wonderful. Our guides were terrific. They knew their business, did it well, and made me feel comfortable and safe. Camping was like sleeping with the windows wide open, except better! The sky was better than anything you could get in a hotel room! The Grand Canyon was an extraordinary experience-it is difficult to adequately put it into words. I have a new respect for nature and preserving the environment. The return to the lights and bustle of Vegas almost hurt. - Joanne Flax - Long Island, New York
